After picking you up from your hotel, you will sail around Opunohu Bay in search of spinner dolphins. 1st stop is snorkeling with stingrays and blacktip sharks. This activity takes place on a shallow sandbank of the lagoon where you can stand as the water is only waist-chest high. 2nd stop is a drift snorkeling at the coral canyon where you can observe green turtles and white spotted eagle rays. This activity is a drift snorkel where you will be drifted by the current while snorkeling. It takes place in slightly deeper waters so we recommend that our customers know how to swim and use snorkeling equipment. However, if you are not very comfortable in the water you can stay and watch from the boat. (This activity may be suspended if the conditions are bad) 3rd snorkeling stop is at the coral garden between the two most beautiful motus off the island of Moorea, where you can swim and admire all kinds of multicolored fish. Every year from July to November, the humpback whales come from Antarctica to our warm waters. An essential migration in their life cycle (socialization, reproduction, birth and first months of the calves' lives). Polynesia is one of the rare places in the world where it is possible to swim with these marine mammals. Our wish is to make you live a unique and memorable experience. We will do our best to meet them. However, it is important to remember that we cannot control Mother Nature, every day is different. The launch is not guaranteed, our priority is the respect of humpback whales and the safety of our customers. All the elements must be present (cetacean behavior, weather conditions, etc.) for the guide to authorize it. We are also equipped with a hydrophone which allows us to listen to the magnificent song of these giants of the sea from the boat.

During the months of July-November, the southern hemisphere population of humpback whales commences their winter migration with a portion of the population choosing the islands of French Polynesia as their destination. French Polynesia remains one of the few locations in the world where we are able to enter the water with humpback whales to observe them directly. Our priority lies both to guest safety and to respect of all wildlife we encounter during our tours. We will only enter the water with humpback whales after the biologist on board has observed their surface activity and deemed it safe and non-invasive for both the guests and the whales. Join us to observe whales in their natural environment in compliance with regulations, supervised by a team concerned with your safety and animal welfare. We will share our knowledge and passion for the Polynesian marine environment and will do our utmost to ensure you have an unforgettable experience. Although unpredictable, it is not uncommon in Moorea to contemplate whales with their calf, love parades, jumps, pectoral fin strikes, caudals out of the water. These observations of the vessel do not require any particular physical ability. If the behavior of the animals and the sea conditions allow, we can offer people over 15 comfortable with fins, mask and snorkeling framed by our Aquatic Guide with these giants of the oceans. You may also have the chance to meet dolphins, globicles, turtles, skates and sharks.
