Kava beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 83th place out of 378 beaches in the Split-Dalmatia region 18.9 km away from its center, the city of Split. It is one of the beaches of Okrug Donji settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.
