Acherounes beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 113th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 182.4 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Acherounes settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
