Megalo Pefko is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 99th place out of 348 beaches in the Thessaly region 120.6 km away from its center, the city of Larissa. It is one of the beaches of Neo Klima settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Megalo Pefko coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Megalo Pefko (Thessaly) is located outside the Neo Klima settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the coast of the Skopelos island and the correct question is not how to get to Megalo Pefko, but what mode of transport can be used to get to it, because this part of the coast is inaccessible by land.
