Teluk Yu Beach is located on the Malacca Strait and it is in the 13th place out of 24 beaches in the Kedah region 73.3 km away from its center, the city of Alor Setar. It is one of the beaches of Pantai Pasir Hitam settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Teluk Yu Beach is located in Kedah within Pantai Pasir Hitam, which makes it not only easily accessible, but even popular among tourists. However, during the high season it is quite uncrowded, which allows you to spend a comfortable time on the coast.

The beach stretches on the coast of the Langkawi island, within the boundaries of the settlement, it is not difficult to get to it. "You can see Ko Tarutao very clearly from here. However, when I arrived, it was low tide so the scenery was a bit out of context but you can see some rippled textures created on the sand. Local vendors selling laksa and coconut water are available if you want something for snacks."

"Clean and tidy beach located in the north of Langkawi . Could also see many people fishing. Beautiful place ! Also known as Teluk yu Granite Tors Geosite .In Malay belief the granite tors are known as " live stones" as they often grow with time."
