Taaras Beach is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 1th place out of 69 beaches in the Terengganu region 52.3 km away from its center, the city of Kuala Terengganu. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Merang settlement, just 30 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Taaras Beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.
