Tengah beach is located on the Malacca Strait and it is in the 3th place out of 24 beaches in the Kedah region 73 km away from its center, the city of Alor Setar. It is one of the beaches of Pantai Tengah settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.
