Coral Bay Perhentian Kecil is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 38th place out of 69 beaches in the Terengganu region 79.8 km away from its center, the city of Kuala Terengganu. It is one of the beaches of Kg. Pasir Hantu settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

"Compared to Long Beach, this beach is a much more pleasant spot to relax or hang out. There are plenty of shaded areas and the water is much calmer. It was enjoyable to jump into the deep waters from the jetty. Additionally, it's even possible to spot baby sharks in the water beneath the jetty."
