Parapat Makuau Tungku Beach is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 8th place out of 40 beaches in the Sabah region 321.1 km away from its center, the city of Kota Kinabalu. It is one of the beaches of Bandar Cendrawasih settlement, just 30.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
