It is one of the beaches of Niteroi settlement, just 7.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small bay with green water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
