Sossego Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 44th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 15.2 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Itaipuacu settlement, just 5.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small bay with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Sossego Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .
