Camboinhas Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 5th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 16.2 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Itaipuacu settlement, just 4.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
