After the wading experience we retreat to the boat to indulge in freshly shucked oysters that can be accompanied by a variety of local beverages available to purchase. While you sit back & relax, a veteran oyster farmer, will share with you the history of oyster farming including an update on the Angasi Reef Restoration Project in Coffin Bay. A project aims to rebuild angasi oyster reefs, using pacific oyster shells. Every shell from, every oyster you consume on the tour will be donated to the restoration efforts & will contribute to bringing these reefs back to life...! We then cruise to Brother's Island to sightsee view herds of seals in their natural habitat.

2 Hour Swim nearby Dolphin / Seal & Coastal Snorkeling Safari departs from Christmas Cove Marina, Penneshaw. Have the opportunity to swim nearby wild dolphins or seals and snorkel some of KI’s beautiful coastline.  It's a great wildlife watching tour! We provide wetsuits, mask, towels, snorkel, and fins. Arrive at Christmas Cove Marina in Penneshaw 30 minutes prior to departure. You will be fitted into the appropriately sized wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and flippers as well as be provided with a safety brief. Then jump on board our 28 seater vessel in search of the marine life that inhabits the stunning coastline. Seals often become very active which provides a unique snorkeling experience. We are the only operator in South Australia that provides the opportunity to swim nearby the Long-Nosed Seals. Also, have the opportunity to swim alongside dolphins in the wild. The guide will also provide an informative commentary along the way.

While you sit back & relax, a veteran oyster farmer, will share with you the history of oyster farming including an update on the Angasi Reef Restoration Project in Coffin Bay. A project aims to rebuild angasi oyster reefs, using pacific oyster shells. Every shell from, every oyster you consume on the tour will be donated to the restoration efforts & will contribute to bringing these reefs back to life...! We then cruise to Brother's Island to sightsee view herds of seals in their natural habitat.

2 Hour Swim nearby Dolphin / Seal & Coastal Snorkeling Safari departs from Christmas Cove Marina, Penneshaw. Have the opportunity to swim nearby wild dolphins or seals and snorkel some of KI’s beautiful coastline.  It's a great wildlife watching tour! We provide wetsuits, mask, towels, snorkel, and fins. Arrive at Christmas Cove Marina in Penneshaw 30 minutes prior to departure. You will be fitted into the appropriately sized wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and flippers as well as be provided with a safety brief. Then jump on board our 28 seater vessel in search of the marine life that inhabits the stunning coastline. Seals often become very active which provides a unique snorkeling experience. We are the only operator in South Australia that provides the opportunity to swim nearby the Long-Nosed Seals. Also, have the opportunity to swim alongside dolphins in the wild. The guide will also provide an informative commentary along the way.

Have a cuppa with some home-made treats before taking a walk down a country track where koalas snooze overhead or wake briefly for a feed. Walk through the bush with your guide - through strangely shaped trees learning what makes that noise, whose tracks are those, and who left THAT little pile there? Look for small wallabies almost extinct on the mainland, a kangaroo found only on Kangaroo Island and a variety of other birds, plants and animals. Break for lunch at a private bush camp and enjoy a delicious meal featuring King George whiting (local sea fish), fresh salads and fine South Australian wines. At Seal Bay Conservation Park take a private tour among Australian sea-lions on a beautiful sandy beach. Watch pups nursing or playing in the surf, see old bulls bearing the scars of territorial disputes and learn about their unique breeding biology.

Kangaroo Island has plenty to offer everyone. Enjoy a full day out visiting a number of outlets on the island while taking in spectacular scenery along the way. Visit Clifford's Honey where you will learn about the Ligurian Bee, then stop next at the Eucalyptus Distillery to taste the local eucalyptus and enjoy some cider tastings. Head to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Enjoy wine tasting at Bay of Shoal Wines while taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at either Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafood or Cactus Cafe, before heading to Kangaroo Island Spirits to experience some award winning gin. If time permits, we will stop at one more winery along the way before heading back to your accommodation.

Travel in a comfortable 4WD to visit the Dudley Peninsula, Pennington Bay, Eucalyptus Distillery and Honey Farm. Stop to visit a winery or two if interested in local wines.
