It's a wonderful spot for swimming and snorkeling.

The beach is bustling with activity, making it a great place to stroll along the Broadwalk and enjoy a meal. Although there is some seaweed present, the overall atmosphere is enjoyable. Our dining experience at Latitudes, located at the Marriott, was delightful.

Ładne miejsce do nurkowania tuż za tyłem obiektu Dive Friends Bonaire Hamlet Oasis. To nurkowanie ścienne z wieloma rybami i doskonałymi koralowcami do zobaczenia. Sprawdź także pomnik nurkowy na krawędzi rafy. Jeśli podążysz dalej na południe wzdłuż ściany, poza tym, co pokazano na mapie w sklepie, natkniesz się na wrak. Z rozmów z personelem wynika, że to ten sam wrak znajdujący się na południe, La Machaca. Z moich rozmów wydaje się, że to łatwiejszy sposób na zobaczenie wraku niż radzenie sobie z personelem w Captain Don's Habitat, jeśli nie jesteś tam gościem.

Ładne miejsce do nurkowania, łatwo dostępne, to nurkowanie ścienne. Chociaż można tu zrobić głębokie nurkowania, nie jest to konieczne, ponieważ jest wiele ładnych ryb do znalezienia powyżej 18 metrów poniżej poziomu morza.

Stroma koralowe z urwiskami 'plaży' z falą wynoszącą około metra. Koralowce ustępują miejsca polu skalnemu, w którym wiele luźnych skał poruszanych jest przez falowanie. To sprawia, że wejście i wyjście są trudne. Nie zauważono ławic ryb, ale były niektóre duże ryby (zielony papugoryb, rekin wielorybi,... myślę) oraz duży koral Elkhorn.

We just returned from a 2-week stay, and the experience was fantastic! Communication from Sunwise Bonaire before, during, and after our trip was exceptional—very prompt and incredibly helpful. The house itself is perfect, situated right on the water with stunning sunset views. It's close enough to walk into town but far enough to avoid any disturbances. Plus, it's just two doors down from Dive Friends' Yellow Sub location, which is super convenient for divers. You can snorkel or dive right in front of the house, and the reef there is amazing! The house is spacious, with an impressive kitchen (though it could use a blender), a washing machine, and highly effective air conditioning in the bedrooms at night. There were a couple of negatives. Our first night was quite traumatic due to a break-in and robbery while we were out for dinner. Lessons learned: the house is very solid, as the robbers couldn't break in through the back door with a crowbar. They did manage to get in through a bedroom window by cutting the screen. It's best to shut the windows when you leave, which is a bit inconvenient but worth it. We contacted the house managers, who called the police, and both arrived within minutes. They were very professional. This is generally a very safe area; we've rented on this road twice before. This incident was likely isolated, coinciding with the first night of the Regatta—just wrong place, wrong time. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here, and we've learned to lock up! Additionally, the water heater broke during our stay. We contacted the house manager, and a repairman came the same day to evaluate. We needed a new heater, and despite being on an island, it was installed the very next day. We were very impressed! No trip is without its problems, but Sunwise Bonaire did an excellent job minimizing the challenges to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend!
