Beach with difficult access, it is beautiful to witness the sunset and sit for a while. The sad thing is that you can hardly bathe and it is dirty (unfortunately due to the action of us humans). There are not many attractions around, other than enjoying the moment. Let's take better care of her!

Super quiet beach with not very clear waters but good. It averages no more than 3 feet deep on its shore and remains that way for the most part for up to 20 or 30 meters + or - out to sea making it ideal for children. It's clean and super nice. Good to spend some time in one of its shadows.

Located in the Western side of the Dominican Republic, northwest of Monte Cristi, Playa Juan de Balanos is on the North West coast of the Dominican Republic. You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you are staying nearby. While not a particularly pretty beach, Playa Juan de Balanos makes up for its aesthetics with convenience. Located on a main road and just a couple of minutes form the largest city in this part of the Dominican Republic, it is a popular beach to visit.Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available. ****
