In terms of outdoor activities on Mahé, this hike, which can also be described as a walk, is a highlight in the Seychelles. The guided tour to Anse Major is easy to do and can also be done in bad weather. You have a great view of various bays & the northwest of Mahé. The green nature in the jungle to be crossed is safe. This tour is ONLY for clients staying on Praslin Island.  This tour starts with a transfer from your respective hotel to Praslin Baie Ste Anne Jetty for the 15 minute crossing to La Digue Island. Upon arrival on La Digue Island you are taken to L'Union Estate for a tour of the copra sheds, the giant land tortoises and the recently refurnished colonial plantation house. The tour of La Digue then resumes by 'camion', an open-sided truck with canopy, stopping at Anse Source d'Argent, which is considered one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Time is then spent at Anse Source D'Argent before you are taken back to La Digue Jetty at 5pm for your ferry back to Praslin Island. This tour is ONLY for clients staying on Praslin Island. After being picked up at your hotel you are taken to Cousin Island Reserve by boat. The tour starts at the Special Nature Reserve of Cousin island and a warden leads the tour of the island with its abundance of species and habitats, from the coast with its protective mangroves, to the wetlands which attract dragonflies, moorhens, caecilans & Seychelles terrapins. The tour continues to Curieuse Island, where a splendid BBQ lunch is served on the beach with its large population of giant tortoises.  After lunch enjoy an hour's snorkeling off the tiny island of St. Pierre before returning back to Praslin and taken to your hotel. There is a 1-hour hike through the hills and mangroves to discover its lush flora and fauna en route. Next head to St. Pierre Island to give yourself the best snorkeling experience. The final stop at Anse la Farine is a smallish, calm, tranquil bay on the south-east coast of Praslin.

Not everyone who travels to the Seychelles has had the opportunity to visit the Rock Pool. It is not so easy to find, but we will guide you there. The Rock Pool is unique and the hike there is easy to do. It is a pleasant tour because you will already see a lot of Mahé on the way there and it can ideally be seen as a half-day tour. The hike takes about an hour there and an hour back. We spend up to about an hour at the pool. If the weather is good and the sea is shallow, you can jump into the pool (approx. 3-4 meters high, depending on the water level approx. 10 meters deep. You can also swim, bathe or simply relax in the pool. You also have the possibility (optional costs) to eat something in the region later, the whole thing is really very relaxed and also suitable for children from the age of 5.
