Formicoli Beach is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 25th place out of 45 beaches in the Vibo Valentia region 22 km away from its center, the city of Vibo Valentia. It is one of the beaches of Ciaramiti settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.
It is a spacious coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
