Copanello Beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 2th place out of 23 beaches in the Catanzaro region 15.8 km away from its center, the city of Catanzaro. It is one of the beaches of Copanello settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.
