Calabria - all beaches

We had a great experience camping near the beach. The camping facilities were excellent and the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. There was also a convenient mini market and cafe available.

We had a wonderful stay in August. The beach was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear water and no annoying large stones or rocks like other beaches in the area. The hotel staff was excellent, very kind, friendly, and accommodating. From the reception staff to the restaurant waiters, they were always ready to fulfill customer requests. The cuisine was also top-notch, with delicious regional dishes and fresh fish served daily. The animation team was not overly intrusive and the young staff members were full of energy. The only downside, which is not specific to the hotel but rather the entire stretch of coast, is the lack of a traditional seafront promenade due to the slightly overhanging nature of the area. Other than that, everything was excellent.

We noticed the seafood spaghetti at the table next to us and decided to order it as well. However, we were disappointed to see that our meal seemed to be just one portion split into two. There were only two mussels and one shrimp, and the amount of spaghetti was not enough. After spending 32 euros on two spaghetti dishes and two drinks, we were still hungry.

This Lido is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation.

This beach is simply amazing! The sea is reminiscent of the Caribbean, and although it may not seem like it from the shore, renting a pedal boat from Lido Azzurra will take you to paradise. The structure is well-maintained, affordable, and the lifeguards are incredibly friendly. After overcoming the submerged rocks just a few meters from the shore, you'll find yourself surrounded by a vast expanse of crystal-clear blue water with a depth of approximately 6-7 meters and white sand that seems to stretch on forever. Diving here is like being transported to another world!

This beach is definitely a must-visit! For a mere 3 euros, you can take a short hike of 10-15 minutes to reach the grotto. Although the journey may require some effort, the breathtaking view from the top is definitely worth it. Although the local authorities have become stricter recently, prohibiting the use of fins, swimming under the arch, and bringing towels, don't let that stop you from experiencing the beauty of this place. If you take the left path, you can even discover a mini arch without any interruptions. So, don't let anyone bring you down and make sure to visit this amazing spot!
