Montepaone Lido beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 5th place out of 23 beaches in the Catanzaro region 22 km away from its center, the city of Catanzaro. It is one of the beaches of Paparo-Sant'Angelo settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area.
