Bo Phut Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 22th place out of 95 beaches in the Surat Thani region 90.2 km away from its center, the city of Surat Thani. It is one of the beaches of Baan Bo Phut settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
