Thongson Bay beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 10th place out of 95 beaches in the Surat Thani region 96.2 km away from its center, the city of Surat Thani. It is one of the beaches of Choeng Mon settlement, just 1.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
