It is one of the beaches of Ma'alaea settlement, just 3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Visitors can park their vehicles either by the roadside or at the Kealia Pond Refuge, where a tiny parking lot is available, albeit without any amenities such as water or restrooms.
