San Sostene Marina is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 6th place out of 23 beaches in the Catanzaro region 28.6 km away from its center, the city of Catanzaro. It is one of the beaches of Lacco settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area.
