Coasteering Coasteering consists of the progression along of a coastline where immersion in water is a part of the activity. Participants will have to cross rocky and aquatic areas using a variety of techniques including climbing (no technical level and low difficulty), swimming and water jumping. Coasteering Coasteering consists of the progression along of a coastline where immersion in water is a part of the activity. Participants will have to cross rocky and aquatic areas using a variety of techniques including climbing (no technical level and low difficulty), swimming and water jumping. A rope may also be used for safety purposes, e.g. lifelines. Some Coasteering route may also include more technical activities such as rappelling, via ferrata and tyrolean traverse/slides.
