The beach is very clean and peaceful, with beautiful turquoise blue water and a tide that goes out quite far. It's perfect for building sandcastles and taking long walks. The National Trust offers free parking if you have a card. There is a small burger van near the car park entrance and clean toilets available. Keep in mind that there are steps leading down to the beach from the car park, so it may not be the best option for those with mobility issues. Overall, it's a fantastic beach that we would definitely visit again if we return to South Wales.
One of the best beaches in the area with reasonable access to parking. Clean and sandy (free of pebble), which is perfect..
Bit of a steep climb back from the beach, but worth it.. sea is reasonably calm for board.. no access to shower, single tap only hidden at the back of the toilets. Paid parking.
