Tunamaya Beach is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 26th place out of 44 beaches in the Pahang region 150.8 km away from its center, the city of Kuantan. It is one of the beaches of Kampung Pasir Sarang Burung settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Tunamaya Beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.
